The Viking Weeks

The Viking Weeks were held in August 2020 and 2021 when the coronavirus pandemic prevented holding the Pirkkala Viking Fair. Similar to the fair, the Viking Weeks are inspired by the Viking era and the archaeological discoveries made in the Tursiannotko area.  The event lasts for a whole month, featuring programmes such as remote lectures and workshops or smaller individual events.
